What are the benefits of joining as a member?

Who can be members?

Membership is ideal for those in the Career Development, Career Advisory, Career planning profession including Human Resources practitioners. Anyone who aspires to be in this field might find joining as a member useful as well.

How long is the membership?

Membership is yearly.

Can I subscribe to membership?

Unfortunately, we currently only have a membership payment plan for one year or two years. We do not have a further subscription plan.

Who are the members of this association?

Our EXCO members are featured on the website, please click here. We do not list down our other members’ details due to PDPA rules. You can join our events to find out more.

Can I join other similar associations if I am a PCDA member?

Yes, of course, we do not restrict you from joining other similar associations, we value your input and exchange when we meet you for our events.

Who organizes the events?

Events are determined by the EXCO team during our monthly meetings. We collaborate with our members to executive these events.

Do I have to pay to participate in all the events?

Members enjoy membership discounts when participating in events, some events are complimentary for our members.

Are there members exclusive events?

We will organize exclusive events for members from time to time.

What kind of events do you organize?

Most of our events are organized to aid in skill development or knowledge improvement or for awareness purposes. The career development scene is changing rapidly and there are many interesting and useful resources our members may benefit from and we hope to provide them with a platform to grow and exchange.

Can I attend events when I am not a PCDA member?

Yes, of course you can, you may not enjoy the privileged member rates for some of the paying events. You may also join the nonpaying events if they are open to non-members.

Can I seek reimbursement for an event I paid for but was unable to attend?

This would be on a case-to-case basis, as we would have incurred costs for speakers and other logistical matters. You may however email us at XX to enquire more.

Who are your speakers for events?

We have a good network of Career Development Practitioners, locally, within the Asia Pacific region and internationally. We invite these professional practitioners.
